Background

My Story

Built from the shop floor, not from a pitch deck

2000
Started as a shop helper in Germany — didn't know anything about machining. Worked my way up to CNC programmer, then manufacturing manager.
2000s
Got my business degree at night while working 12-hour shifts. Learned that the best solutions come from people who understand both the floor and the numbers.
2007
Moved to Canada with my wife, two kids, and eight suitcases. Started over from the machines up.
2007–2025
Spent 18 years leading production at a manufacturing company in Alberta. Saw firsthand how small manufacturers get crushed between enterprise software they can't afford and spreadsheets that don't scale.
2024
After nearly two decades in the same role, I hit a point where I knew it was time to do the work that actually mattered — helping the small manufacturers I'd spent my career working alongside.
Now
Taught myself to build software the same way I learned everything else: by doing. Now I combine 25 years of manufacturing experience with full-stack development to solve problems that off-the-shelf software can't touch.
